About Angels Acres

Our Promise: A Forever Home of Hope, Peace & Love.

A 501(c)3 nonprofit sanctuary in Mooresville, Indiana — rescuing farm animals in need and giving each one a permanent, loving home. Many arrive having never known kindness, and watching them learn to trust and love again is one of the most transformative things you will ever witness.

A Forever Home

We make a promise to every animal.

At Angels Acres, we do not re-home any of our animal residents — this is their FOREVER home. We make that promise to each animal as soon as they are rescued, to ensure they never end up in a similar situation down the road.

Some animals we rescue have been treated so poorly, they sadly do not make it during transport to our sanctuary. But when they cross that threshold onto our property, they are HOME — and receive a proper burial here, or are cremated and kept in Bobbie's home on the property. They never leave.

We honor the friends we have lost by sharing their story and pictures on our "Our Angels" memorial page, where they continue to inspire the community no matter how short their time was here.

Meet the Founder

The heart behind
Angels Acres

Angels Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary was established in 2022 with the vision of providing a safe haven for farm animals in need. Our founder, Bobbie Wright, who has a deep love for animals, embarked on a journey to create a sanctuary where every animal is valued and cherished.

Over the years, she and her partner Terry have rescued and rehabilitated numerous animals, giving them a second chance at life.

Bobbie and Terry have big dreams for Angels Acres, and every day, alongside many dedicated volunteers, they work to make the sanctuary even better.
