About Maple

Maple has one of the most incredible "glow-up" stories at the sanctuary! When she was first rescued after roaming the woods in the middle of winter, her coat was so weathered we thought she was dark brown—until a good cleaning revealed her stunning, light maple-colored fur. Not long after, she gave us the best surprise of all: her son, Charlie! Today, Maple is a happy, healthy momma whose resilience and sweet spirit are an inspiration to us all.
